Some shots of my favorite The Selby as of late. I love the indoor swing.  Look at The Selby for more.

Tucker by Gaby Basora

Check out this amazing video for Tucker Summer 2012, directed by Kinga Burza. Girls misbehaving!

I especially love the square small backpack in the first scene.  I had to look for my own, and found a great one from Duluth Pack, right in my back yard!

Knit Turban Tutorial

Here's a new tutorial for y'all!  You can make these in any reversible stitch, at any gauge! Just knit a 3.75 inch (9.5 cm) by 40 inch (101.5 cm) "scarf" and sew together as illustrated above.

Garden Update

With the early start this year, our container garden is blowing up.  We have mini cucumbers, radishes, grape tomatoes, peas, beans, swiss chard, some herbs, and salad greens.  Salad greens are so easy to grow, and I highly recommend growing them!  It's incredible how much better they taste than store-bought, and you can harvest as you go (I always tend to buy the big package of them and never use them all, putting much to waste).

We also have a mulberry branch growing into our yard from our neighbor's backyard...free game right?

Nerd Alert

In the fashion realm of matters, I've been falling into a new summer uniform.  I find myself wearing these things while purchasing more of them...a little embarressing.

Jeanne Francois could help me out by changing all my shirts to those with collars.  I want everything in her shop.

Feltron

Don't you ever wonder what your exact impact on the world around you is?  We often say that we do some things more than others, but do we really?  Nicholas Felton of New York, since 2005 has been on, what some people say, an obsessive quest to record all of his interactions, his purchases, his time spent, places visited, etc.  Every year, he has created a well designed "Feltron Annual Report", complete with info graphics and data lists from everything from beverages consumed to total miles walked.  An interesting quest for truth and reality.

I've heard about Feltron through several sources, most recently the podcast 99% Invisible, which I highly recommend.
